Donald Trump starts the blood running

Baron Rothschild, an 18th century British nobleman and member of the Rothschild banking family, is credited with saying that “the time to buy is when there’s blood in the streets.” Donald Trump takes the Baron’s strategy to another level. He starts the blood running.

This is what America will become if trump is allowed to continue with his strategy. It is a painting entitled “The Triumph of Deathby Pieter Bruegel (the Elder). It also depicts the poem “The Wasteland” by T.S. Eliot.

In “Trump’s low-cost strategy for America, with apologies to Wal-Mart” ( https://medium.com/@WillmsmithSmith/trumps-low-cost-strategy-for-america-with-apologies-to-wal-mart-96dfeb50b2b6 ) I wrote “Trump is attempting to make the United States the Wal-Mart of Nation- states.” By that I meant, for trump it’s simply easier to avoid the cost of engaging in discussion with free people about issues on which he and they may disagree and simply force all to agree with him.

I was wrong! Trump’s strategy for America is to create chaos through out the world and in doing so command compliance from others by allowing others to think he’ll stop the chaos if they comply.

In Vanity Fair Mike Mariani writes:

“The Trump team, both during its transition to power at the end of 2016 and in the early stages of its administration, can come across as an indecipherable swirl of contradictions, conflicting reports, and apparent hypocrisies. This can seem, at first blush, like the obvious result of an inexperienced, seat-of-the- pants president and a leadership style that favors flash over substance. We hear talk of draining the swamp, yet billionaires and special interests seem to have quickly infiltrated a White House that Trump assured his supporters would disavow elites. As former Federal Election Commission member Ann Ravel put it in November, “The alligators are multiplying.” Meanwhile, as controversial Cabinet picks like Jeff Sessions, Scott Pruitt, and Rex Tillerson went through the confirmation process, Trump continued sucking up media attention, picking fights on Twitter, doubling down on long-discredited lies, and sparking biweekly conflagrations. The effect is a permanent state of disorder: a de-stabilized media, an exasperated citizenry, and a fractured opposition, divided and pulled into mudslinging sideshows.”

Trump didn’t just buy Mar-a-Lago. He created a war for it. He resorted to every trick in the business book to drive down its price to a level he was willing to pay, which was several million below its actual value.

With taxes and maintenance costs presenting a $1 million bill, the eight-hectare estate proved too expensive for the government to maintain. The Carter administration returned it to the Post Foundation in 1981, when it was put on sale for $25 million.

Trump put in a first offer for $15 million in 1982 after vacationing in Palm Beach, he recalled in the book “Trump: The Art of the Deal.” When the offer was turned down, Trump bought an oceanside property in front of Mar-a-Lago and threatened to build a monstrosity to block the mansion’s view, as he told The Washington Post in 2015.

That was my first wall,” he said in the interview. “That drove everybody nuts. They couldn’t sell the big house because I owned the beach, so the price kept going down and down.

By December 1985, Trump was able to buy the property at the bargain price of $5 million for the house and $3 million for the furniture, as he wrote in his book — although a 1988 article in the Associated Press about how Trump was fighting against a $200,000 property tax bill (he claimed it should have been about half that amount) noted that he paid $7 million in cash for the estate.

This is how trump intends to command compliance from Congress to pass immigration laws he wants not laws on which Congress might agree. At least 2,053 children have been separated from their parents due to the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy. Officials have said they reunited 538 of those children, but didn’t intend to reunite them with parents who were detained.

On Thursday, HHS Secretary Alex Azar would not give a specific number of separated children in HHS custody during a phone call with reporters. He said under 3,000 children currently in custody are being looked at as possibly separated minors and that approximately 100 children under the age of five in HHS custody may have been separated from their families.

Not even trump’s own White House is left unscathed from his “reign of terror”. These are notable firings and resignations from President Donald Trump‘s White House since he took office on Jan. 20, 2017, as reported by ABC News:

— July 5: Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt

— June 5: Communications aide Kelly Sadler

— April 12: Deputy national security adviser Ricky Waddell

— April 11: Deputy national security adviser Nadia Schadlow

— April 10: Homeland security adviser Tom Bossert

— March 28: Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin

— March 22: National security adviser H.R. McMaster

— March 13: Secretary of State Rex Tillerson

— March 12: Special assistant and personal aide to the president John McEntee

— March 6: Economic adviser Gary Cohn

— Feb. 28: Communications director Hope Hicks

— Feb. 7: Staff secretary Rob Porter

— Dec. 13, 2017: Communications director for the White House Office of Public Liaison Omarosa Manigault Newman

— Dec. 8, 2017: Deputy national security adviser Dina Powell

— Sept. 29, 2017: Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price

— Aug. 25, 2017: National security aide Sebastian Gorka

— Aug. 18, 2017: Chief strategist Steve Bannon

— July 31, 2017: Communications director Anthony Scaramucci

— July 28, 2017: Chief of staff Reince Priebus

— July 21, 2017: Press secretary Sean Spicer

— May 30, 2017: Communications director Michael Dubke

— May 9, 2017: FBI Director James Comey

— March 30, 2017: Deputy chief of staff Katie Walsh

— Feb. 13, 2017: National security adviser Michael Flynn

None of this is an accident or the result of some political novice. It is the calculated manipulation of a sociopath, engaged in a premeditated strategy to bend all to his will.
