When the leading threat to public safety is right here at home, and not susceptible to military solutions, it’s appropriate to redirect some of the money that was intended for the Pentagon to other, more urgent, needs. Some Americans like to think the Coronavirus pandemic will come to an end and that will be the end of the threat to our lives and livelihoods.
