Sometimes we want to think the Coronaviris and the pandemic to which it gave rise was just some statistical anomaly and once scientists create a vaccine all will return to normal. But that’s unlikely. It’s much more likely the novel Coronavirus arose not as an anomaly but rather as a result of the way 7.8 billion human beings live and interact with each other. We’ve taken this situation to the absurd arguing about social distancing, wearing a mask and washing our hands. Sir David Attenboroughs assessment is more likely what we should expect.
