Sorry to say but you appear to be lost in the trees and are missing the forest. The problem is not the software. It’s the substitution of technology/software for labor/pilots. Substitution of technology for labor is an industrial technique that has worked well for manufacture of products like air conditioners. It even works in service businesses like McDonalds but it doesn’t work in unpredictable, anomalous situations like airplanes encounter. Boeing’s problem is not the engineering. It’s the economics. Use technology as a support for pilots not as a substitute for pilots!
