The argument is that Mr. Tyson, like other black men, experienced antagonism (i.e.racism ) and then “internalized” that experience so that it affected his cellular make-up ( i.e. DNA ) and eventually his longevity/life??

Obviously, if he had not experienced antagonism/racism he would have had nothing to internalize and lived longer but what-if he found a way to have “externalized” the antagonism he experienced, would he have lived longer? Should we council all young black men on how to externalize any antagonism they may experience as a way to prevent premature death?
