More than 38,000 people died in the US from the use of firearms during 2019.
A total of 207 children under the age of 11 lost their lives and 473 were injured by firearmsin 2108
In addition, 762 children aged 12 to 17, died and another 2,253 were injured in the past year.
The 2001 USA Patriot Act defines domestic terrorism as a dangerous act occurring within U.S. territory that violates criminal laws in ways that are
- “intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
- influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion;
- affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination or kidnapping.”
That definition is also in the U.S. Government Code, the 53 title compilation of federal legal statutes.
The NRA is a terrorist organization and should be tried and convicted of the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans as such!
