While many, including me will agree with almost all you write, sadly most will read your words through a partisan perspective. Since Newt Gingrich most have come to see our politics, like European politics, as either Liberal or Conservative. For 200 years we avoided philosophical distinctions and simply focused on gaining votes. Winning elections, not promoting ideology, was the objective of political parties. Until we return to that our government will wallow in the swamp of righteousness.
