Having worked for the largest retailers in the world and I really mean “the world” I got every word you wrote! The insular nature of “retailers”, as they like to call themselves, is so mind-numbing that they truly behave like zombies with smiles permanently drawn on their morbid faces, always ready to “ring that up” for any thing with a credit card within their department floor space.
